How to choose drapes – a step-by-step draping kit guide to make it easy to buy what you need at a price that doesn’t break the Bank.
Small drape sets, large drape sets, draping kits, training & draping kits… it’s a lot to choose from, particularly if you’re just getting started and haven’t done your colour analysis training yet.
So here’s my take on how to choose your drapes – a step-by-step draping kit guide to make it easy to buy what you need at a price that doesn’t break the Bank.
- Choose the ‘start-small‘ approach
– Step 1 below – perfect if you have a limited budget or just testing things out - If your prefer ‘ready-made done-for-you‘
– scroll down to ‘Ready-made Drape Sets & Kits‘
Step 1
Start-small
Not everyone wants a pro draping kit containing everything a professional needs for their consulting clients. So we’ve designed the Start-small (expand-later) drape sets.
Seasonal or Tonal?
Seasonal Start-small Drape Set
The Seasonal Start-small Drape Set contains 20 standard-size drapes for the 4 Seasons. You will be able to diagnose all four Seasons with these 20 drapes and give each client her best lightest and darkest neutrals, plus her best red, blue, and green. Then expand your collection of drape colours over time, in small steps, when you feel the need.
OR
Tonal Start-small Drape Set
The Tonal Start-small Drape Set contains 30 standard-size drapes for the 6 Tones. You will be able to diagnose all six Tones with these 30 drapes and give each client her best lightest and darkest neutrals, plus her best red, blue, and green. You can expand later with more colours and perhaps even more reds, greens, and blues. Then expand your collection of drape colours over time, in small steps, when you feel the need.
Steps 2, 3, and 4 – choose in any order
Step 2
Add Antique Gold & Silver
Antique Drape Pack
The Antique Drape Pack contains 2 drapes – Antique Silver and Antique Gold.
Step 3
Add the Armani Colours
Armani Drape Pack
The Armani Drape Pack contains 4 drapes – Medium Bronze, Moss Green, Green Grey, and Rose Brown.
Step 4
Add Individual Colours
No need to buy a number of drapes all at once. Add individual drapes from our catalogue of 173 colours just when you need them.
Seasonal & Tonal Individual Drapes
Choose any number of drapes (there is no minimum order) from the list of 173 colour choices.
